Winner Announcement and Challenge #8 - X's and O's

Hello Pumpkin Spice Friends,

Hurray for Saturday!!!  How is everyone's weekend so far?  It is snowing like crazy in the area my hubby works, so we were very lucky to get him home this weekend.

Washington has not seen Snow this year yet... I am wondering if we will.  My instinct says we will and it is going to U G L Y when it appears.  But I don't have a farmers almanac this year, so I have no idea what it says.

Ok, enough about the weather.

Wowzers!  Again, another week of amazing Projects.  Thank you so much everyone.  Your submissions make my day!

Today's Daily SPS Inspiration from Denine - Quick Cards

Hello Everyone,

Denine here bringing you some quick cards again.
One of the things that I just LOVE about My Mind's Eye - The Sweetest Thing and nearly all of the My Mind's Eye product lines, are the way the papers and accessories just melt together.

Then I noticed that the Carta Bella Lines Winter Fun and Merry & Bright were an exact match to the colors used in the MME The Sweetest Thing line.  Ohhh was I excited because I LOVE the quality of both of these paper line.  The 12 x 12 papers for both are thick and have texture... oh I just Love them... did I say that already.  Anyhow, enough of my gushing... here are the VERY quick cards I made to mainly show off the color coordination and the paper.   I just did 'fronts' tonight, because I am out of Kraft cardstock and I really think that will work best with these two.

Isn't the print and pattern beautiful on this paper.  I loved the doily print the minute I saw and... I was going to use it for holiday cards ... but... well as you can see that didn't happen. lol

Stamp sets - Fiskars - Friends.
Ink: I also used Texas Chocolate ink for both the edging and the stamp - love this ink.
My papers are from MME "My Sweetest Thing" Lavender - Fabulous Berries and Carta Bella "Merry & Bright" - Green Glow/Cotton Candy and "Winter Fun" - Frozen Beige/Rouge for the solid base layers.
I also used My Sweetest Thing Stickers for the banner, and some Jute.

Well I hope you enjoyed my quick cards.

Happy Friday and Come back tomorrow for our Weekly Challenge... they are so much fun.
There is still time to enter this weeks LOVE challenge... come play with us and be inspired by the other submissions.  They are such a blast to go look at.

Hugs,

Today's Daily SPS Inspiration from June - card

Hello!  This is June Houck filling in for the lovely and talented Saundra.  Saundra is in the process of moving and her crafty supplies are packed up at the moment.  No doubt she is going through a little paper play withdrawal.  I hope you will click over to her blog and leave her some love after you do your shopping at the Pumpkin Spice store :)

I created this fun card from BasicGrey "Clippings" 6x6 papers, snippets, and adhesive chipboard pieces.  The "LOVE" typewriter stickers are by Rusty Pickle.  And I added a few staples.

I showed this card to my husband and he said, "You No Love me?"  Oh dear!  Perhaps I should have chosen the number of years we have been together or the number of years we have been married for the red "No." snippet :)

Do you have a creative faux pas you care to share?  Hopefully I gave you a giggle with mine today!

You can find BasicGrey "Clippings" at the Shop Pumpkin Spice store.  Don't forget to link up your love-themed cards, LOs, and projects on the Shop Pumpkin Spice blog.  (Link up love projects here by 9pm PST Friday, February 22nd.)

Happy Thursday!  June

Today's SPS Daily Inspiration with Heather - Card

Good morning! Heather here from Houses Built of Cards. Today is my day to share here at Shop Pumpkin Spice, and I put together a fun card with lots of My Mind's Eye Indie Chic pattern paper for you today:
I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out this cute file from the online store.
My pattern papers are all from the Indie Chic "Ginger" line - love how well they blend together!
I mounted both the fence and the kitties with foam adhesive for a bit of dimension.
I used a sentiment from Paper Smooches, and tucked just a bit of washi tape from the same MME Indie Chic collection on the left hand side of the card to balance the sentiment.
Finished off with a bit of bling, and some jute twine tied in a bow.
Thanks for stopping by today! Hope your week is off to a great start!
